PARENT Rules for Evaluation
A PARENT-rule is a SD-Rule that is a root PARENT rule and have CHILD rules in the SD rule set. For example, $|adj|ally$|adv is a root PARENT rule because it's CHILD ic$|adj|ically$|adv is also in the SD-Rule set. Such rule is marked as PARENT in the previous SD-Rules set. All such rules from previous release are evaluated along with its child-rule(s) in our system to obtain the optimized set.
PARENT-rule is stored in ./dataR/SdRulesCheck/${YEAR}/sdRules.data.${YEAR}.relation.children.only.rpt.${YEAR} with tags of |PARENT =>.
In addition, add previous known RULE: esis$|noun|ic$|adj|2016|EXP_SUG|SELF.
The table below shows 19 PARENT rules from the SD-Rules set (186 rules) from previous release::
