Description

MOST (Multicenter Osteoarthritis Study) is a multi-center longitudinal, prospective, observational study of a cohort of Americans aged 50-79 years with knee osteroarthritis (OA) or at increased risk of developing the knee OA. The main purpose of the study is to investigate the etiology of the OA and opportunities for its prevention and treatment. The study has been operational since 2001 and funded by National Institute on Aging (NIA). Study participants attended baseline examination and follow-up assessments for physical function and performance evaluations.
